Jonathon Sutherland MSW. After beginning work in the substance abuse field in 2011, Jon committed to the pursuit of higher education in the Social Work field. Jonathon earned an Associate’s degree in Human Services from Washtenaw Community College in 2014, a Bachelor’s degree of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University in 2015, and a Master’s degree from the School of Social Work at the University of Michigan in 2016 in the social policy and evaluation macro tract. Jonathon is a member in good standing of the American Evaluation Association (AEA), the national trade association of the evaluation field, and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the premier social work association of the United States. Jonathon has over 6 years of experience working in the substance abuse field, and lead evaluator experience evaluating head start programs in Detroit, the aging community in Ann Arbor, low income food programs in Detroit, and community arts projects in the Ann Arbor area. Jonathon’s experience brings a well-rounded and community focused approach to the not for profit consulting and evaluation field.
